Course Overview


Modern infrastructure faces constant threats from misconfigurations, unpatched systems, and the misuse of privileges. Learners will develop defensive strategies to harden infrastructure and detect attack patterns before compromise, in alignment with NIST SP 800-53, PCI Software Security Framework (PCI SSF), and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

On successful completion of this course, learners should have the knowledge and skills required to:

  • Recognize and remediate common infrastructure weaknesses
  • Apply patch management and segmentation principles
  • Use monitoring tools to identify intrusions or anomalies
