DES 224 – Mitigating OWASP 2025 Software Supply Chain Failures (NEW)

Course Overview

This course prepares web application developers to identify and mitigate Security Misconfiguration risks outlined in the OWASP Top 10 (2025). Learners will focus on implementing secure installation and deployment practices, including repeatable system hardening, minimal platform configurations, and consistent patch and configuration management. The course also explores secure architectural approaches such as application segmentation, containerization, and cloud-native access controls, along with sending appropriate security directives to clients.

By the end of the course, participants will understand how to automate configuration validation, leverage platform-provided identity and access mechanisms, and maintain secure configurations across all environments.
