DES 231 – Mitigating OWASP 2025 Mishandling of Exceptional Conditions (NEW)

Course Overview

This course equips web application developers with the knowledge and skills required to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities related to the mishandling of exceptional conditions as described in the OWASP Top 10 (2025). Learners will examine how improper error and exception handling can lead to security issues such as logic flaws, race conditions, overflows, fraudulent transactions, and failures in state, resource, authentication, or authorization management. The course highlights how attackers exploit these weaknesses to compromise confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
