Course Overview

Excessive or uncontrolled use of LLM capabilities can exhaust system resources and drive up costs. Learners will simulate abuse scenarios and implement technical limits to protect systems and budgets.

After completing this lab, learners will have the knowledge and skill to:

• Detect unbounded consumption of compute or API resources
• Implement rate limits, session quotas, and usage controls
• Apply billing protection and alerting
• Prevent denial of service via overuse or malicious prompts
