LAB 380 – Defending Node.js AI Applications from Unbounded Consumption (NEW)

Course Overview

Unbounded Consumption vulnerabilities allow uncontrolled use of LLM resources, leading to service degradation, outages, or unexpected operational costs. Aligned with OWASP Top 10 LLM 2025 this lab trains learners to secure Node.js AI applications against resource abuse by enforcing rate limits, resource quotas, session controls, and usage billing protections.

By the end of this skill lab, learners will be able to:

• Detect excessive or malicious LLM usage
• Implement rate limiting and quota systems
• Apply session control and billing safeguards
