CYB 311 – Threat Analysis with AI (UPDATED)

Course Overview

Artificial intelligence can enhance threat detection by analyzing applications, malware, and user behavior for indicators of suspicious activity. This course describes the fundamentals of AI, machine learning, neural networks, deep learning, training data, and sandbox environments for conducting threat analysis. It supports the NICE Workforce Framework Threat/Warning Analyst (AN-TWA-001) role.

On successful completion of this course, learners should have the knowledge and skills required to:

• Discuss how AI helps organizations protect themselves against threats such as cyber-attacks
• Understand the primary components of AI, such as sandboxes and trained data
• Understand the logic used in machine learning, neural networks, and deep learning
